Hi! I'm Emrallt! I'm a Blue Front Amazon and I was hatched on Beltaine! That's May 1. The year was 2001 so I am five as of 2006. I've have a few bouts with hormones and Mama says I am a brat extraordinaire. I don't care what that means as long as I get peanuts and scritches. I am a Chaco variety BFA which means I have a bit more color on my shoulders. You can learn more about BFA's here.
My relatives come from South America, but I came from Colorado. Here is a picture of me and my brother, Buster. He lives with the lady who handfed me. She knows alot about birds so you should visit her.
I love to play! One of my favorite toys is a Kong ring and I wrestle with it. Sometimes I fall over, but I pretend I meant to do it! You would to if everyone laughed at you!>
I like to say my name over and over again. It means Green in Welsh or so my Mama told me. She is the best human in the world. In fact, I don't much like other humans. And I am very protective of my mama although she tells me I don't need to do that.
Another toy I love is the Bagel.
I get them from Busy Beaks. Jan and Gary are two of my very favorite people in the whole world! I got to sit in their booth one year. They told me I was their toy model. I got to play with all sorts of new toys. Mama bought my favorite ones! Bagles are yummy and shreddable!

A lady who saw me at a bird club meeting said I was a very handsome fella and should be in bird shows. Mama tried once, but I got so scared! I sat in the back of my cage with my back to the judges. Mama took me home early because she felt bad. Here is a shot of my head. Don't I have a lot of blue!
